Install VaultScribe on Windows

Follow these steps to install VaultScribe from the official download. You need a valid license key to activate the app after installation.

  1. Download the installer from the download page on this site (Windows x64).
  2. Run the installer — double-click VaultScribe_1.2.0_x64-setup.exe and follow the prompts.
  3. Windows SmartScreen

    VaultScribe is independently developed software. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning during installation. Click 'More info' → 'Run anyway' to proceed. This is normal for new independent software publishers. Code signing certificate is on our roadmap.

  4. Accept the EULA during installation when prompted. The full text is available in the End User License Agreement.
  5. First launch and setup — when you open VaultScribe for the first time, the guided experience checks your hardware and downloads the bundled speech model (one-time download). Stay online until that step completes.
