# VaultScribe > VaultScribe is a private AI command center for law firms, currently pre-release. It brings client conversations, documents, deadlines and matters into one workspace that runs on the firm's own machines, with an AI agent that drafts and answers with citations. It starts with local meeting transcription: calls and meetings are transcribed on the firm's own computer, with no bot in the call. Status: pre-release. There is no installer, no price and no purchase. The company is accepting founding design partners, with a non-binding letter of intent and terms agreed on a call. Contact: hello@vaultscribe.app. Facts that are safe to state: - It runs inside the firm: nothing leaves unless an administrator allows it, and every outside request is recorded in an egress log. - It does not join calls as a bot or participant. - It is built to run air-gapped: no account, no phone-home, an offline license. Connectors and cloud models need a connection and are off by default. The independent security audit and penetration test happen before launch. - It is a whole workspace for legal work: meetings, documents, deadlines, time, drafting and research in one place, with an agent that works across all of it. - The agent works autonomously on a directive: it connects sources, gathers, assembles and drafts. Sending, deleting, sharing and exporting require a person's click, and a lawyer reviews its output. - Transcripts are machine transcripts and are not certified. - Screens on the site are design previews with sample data, not customer results. - Mobile apps, independent security certifications and an independent security audit are planned and not available. ## Pages - [Home](https://vaultscribe.app/index.md): what VaultScribe is, design previews, privacy context with sources, and how to become a design partner. - [How it works](https://vaultscribe.app/how-it-works.md): the six capabilities, what is planned but not yet available, and common questions. - [Guides](https://vaultscribe.app/guides.md): plain-English explainers for law firms, with sources. - [Is an AI notetaker safe for client calls?](https://vaultscribe.app/ai-notetaker-client-calls.md): lawsuits alleged, what the ABA says, six questions for any vendor. - [AI meeting transcription and client confidentiality](https://vaultscribe.app/ai-meeting-transcription-client-confidentiality.md): why the duty is broader than privilege, risks, and a firm checklist. - [Local vs cloud meeting transcription](https://vaultscribe.app/local-vs-cloud-meeting-transcription.md): an honest comparison, including where local is harder. - [Privacy](https://vaultscribe.app/privacy.md): what this website collects (no analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts). ## Optional - [Full text of all pages](https://vaultscribe.app/llms-full.txt): every page above in one file.
